Season 3 of “The Traitors” is rapidly approaching a dramatic finale as the number of players continues to dwindle in Episode 10. “The Power of the Seer” comes off of the reveal that Danielle must pick a new Traitor and therefore give a Faithful a deadly ultimatum. At the end of Episode 9, it is revealed that she picked Britney, to no one’s surprise (except for Britney, herself). Despite her doubts she quickly accepts Danielle’s Traitorous offer, and the pair have a little conspiratorial giggle. In the style of true friendship, they have a gab-sesh in the turret as Danielle catches her up on all the old Traitor drama, dishing on her clash with Carolyn, before discussing who to murder next. Britney tells Danielle that Tom and Gabby are on to her, throwing Ivar’s name in with theirs as the best players to murder. Danielle and Britney’s trust in each other brings good energy to the turret for the first time all season, leaving us viewers to wonder, will their friendship survive the test of being Traitors?

But first, the penultimate breakfast. The remaining players this episode are:
o Danielle – Traitor
o Britney – Traitor
o Dylan
o Dolores
o Gabby
o Ivar
o Tom – Murdered
Ding Dong, Tom Sandoval Is Gone!
Surprisingly, Dolores didn’t have to work hard to finally see Tom’s downfall. But his elimination doesn’t keep him from bragging about his time on the show. In his confessional, Tom says he “didn’t realize he would be so good” at the game and that he was a “pleasure to work with.” Host Alan Cumming gets the last laugh, however, by stating, “Oh Tom, for once you were actually Faithful,” before tossing Tom’s portrait on the floor. If only Chrishell were here to see this! In Gabby’s words: R.I.P.
Clinical Insanity
In her confessional, Gabby says she thinks Danielle voted against Carolyn because she rightfully thinks she has inside information and that all of the Traitors have been “clinically insane.” This leads to two of the most awkward interactions in the whole season thus far, both of which feature Danielle talking to Gabby, who clearly doesn’t believe anything Danielle says. The best moment is when Danielle sits next to Gabby as she drinks tea and the two have nothing to say to each other. Gabby is determined not to let the awkward silence defeat her. To us, she confesses that even though she is “sitting in the room with a cold-blooded killer, [she’s] not getting up!”

A Murderous Memory Game
After Alan leaves a hint at breakfast that the episode’s challenge will have the players facing their past, we find out that the game is made up of three rounds designed after previous games they have played. To make things interesting, whoever gets the most money from all of the challenges gets the power of “The Seer,” which enables the winner to see one player’s true identity. This power is, of course, a complete game-changer, and skyrockets the stakes of the challenge.
The first round features evil clowns carrying gold balloons containing gold or skulls. If a player pops the “skull” balloon, they are immediately disqualified and lose all money that they might have already earned.
For the second round, the players are given creepy, decrepit dolls reminiscent of the nursery rhyme challenge that, after pulling their string, either given them money or take all of their earnings away. Danielle, acting increasingly desperate to make the most money to win the power of “The Seer” to protect her identity, secures $2000, surpassing everyone else.
The third round has players digging through poop bags and dirty leaves to gather coins (Gabby’s manicure is devastated). At the end of the challenge, the players must hoist cages reminiscent of the cages Boston Rob, Wes and Derrick were kept in when they joined the game earlier in the season.
The winner of “The Seer’s” power is not revealed to us…yet, but its presence still impacts the episode. Dylan says he was paying attention to Danielle during the game and noticed her intense game-play, pointing out that a Traitor would want this power more than anyone else.
Bye Bye, Bambi?
Knowing that Gabby is on to her, Danielle launches into a campaign to get Gabby voted out, starting by ensuring that Dolores will vote with her. Dolores, in a heartwarming (or breaking?) moment says that Danielle is an honest and true “friend.”
After Gabby confesses to Britney that she believes that Danielle is a Traitor, Britney starts campaigning hard, arguing to the other players that Gabby should be seen as suspicious because she never made an effort to talk to anyone outside of her “Bambi posse” (Chrishell and Nikki being the other members).
Despite the Traitors’ efforts, tides seem to turn in Gabby’s favor after the episode’s challenge. Dylan and Gabby have a quick whisper about “Weird sh*t” that Danielle has done, including Dylan’s game-time observations which have left him conflicted once again. He claims that Gabby’s conviction that Danielle is a Traitor is convincing and goes to Danielle with his concerns. Danielle responds by playing betrayed, hurt and devastated. Will her acting convince him when it matters?
Efforts are further thwarted as Dolores tells Britney that she hasn’t heard Gabby’s case and might vote for Ivar, leaving Britney running around like a chicken with her head cut off in a hilarious montage.

A Tied Roundtable
This penultimate roundtable is last time someone is revealed to be a Faithful or Traitor upon banishment, leaving the stakes high and the air tense. Britney kicks the debate off by making the case that Gabby never made any efforts to befriend people outside of her friend group, making her appear unconcerned. Gabby quickly shuts this down, saying that she has no loyalties at this table. With this, she turns the spotlight to Danielle, arguing that she seemed particularly privy to the information that Carolyn was a Traitor, citing once again that the previous roundtable seemed like it was a “Traitor on Traitor” fight. Dylan and Ivar support her as she pinpoints that she has been kept alive by the Traitors for this moment so that she can take the fall as “Another strong woman with a personality being accused.” To all of Danielle’s rebuttals she cooly (in both meanings of the term) says “Same.”
Despite the Traitors’ efforts to frame Gabby, and despite her turning it around on Danielle, it is Dolores who shifts the outcome of the roundtable. To Gabby’s point that women have been targeted lately in the game, Dolores makes a claim that Ivar has been flying under the radar, hiding behind the theory (though correct) that the remaining Traitors are women.
This leads us to the vote.
- Ivar votes for Danielle
- Dolores votes for Ivar
- Danielle, seeing that the Gabby angle failed, votes for Ivar
- Gabby votes for Danielle
- Britney votes for Ivar
- Dylan, breaking his heart once again, votes for Danielle, to which Danielle says, “I adore you, so it’s fine.”
With Danielle and Ivar getting the same amount of votes, the episode ends in the first tie of the season, and the cliff-hanger is Dramatic with a capital D. As we see the players recast their votes after Ivar and Danielle plead their case, Britney clearly struggles with her decision. Does she vote with the Faithfuls to hide her identity or does she remain loyal to Danielle and uphold their already once-broken friendship?
The players’ votes are revealed been kept the same so far except for Britney’s…which is left to be determined.
