Season 22 of Bravo’s “Top Chef” will say ciao in Milan, Italy for the upcoming finale.
With just six chefs remaining in the competition, the show is continuing the last two episodes in Calgary before heading to Italy.
Milan Cortina is the home of the upcoming 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and athletes will be taking part of the upcoming episodes.
During the first part of the season finale on June 5, which will be the chefs’ last Quickfire Challenge of the season, they will be tasked with creating a classic Milanese dish and the most feared dish by many “Top Chef” contenders, risotto.
The chefs will then compete in a three-part, head-to-head culinary battle while receiving some help from Olympic athletes Elana Meyers Taylor, Red Gerard, and Paralympic athletes Oksana Masters and Declan Farmer. Kristen Kish, Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons will be joined at the judges’ table by two-star Michelin chef Andrea Aprea and “Top Chef” World All-Star alum Ali Ghzawi.
For their last challenge of the season, the final three chefs must create the best progressive four-course meal of their lives. With the help of their sous chefs, the finalists have to pull out all the stops to impress an esteemed table of diners, including chef Carlo Cracco, “Top Chef” alums Richard Blais and Gregory Gourdet, and Hunter Lewis, Editor-In-Chief of Food & Wine magazine.
At the judges’ table, Kristen, Tom and Gail will be joined by and award-winning chef Clare Smyth to determine who will be named the next “Top Chef.”
Along with the title of “Top Chef,” the winner will receive the largest grand prize in the history of the show which includes $250,000 provided by Saratoga® Spring Water, the official water of “Top Chef”; Delta SkyMiles® Diamond Medallion® status and a $125,000 flight credit to spend on travel with Delta Air Lines; a feature in Food & Wine magazine and an appearance at the annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Colo. For the first time ever, the winner will headline their own exclusive dinner at the historic James Beard House in New York and have the opportunity to present at the James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards in Chicago.
“Top Chef” Season 22 two-part finale will air on Bravo June 5 and June 12.
