Hollywood is mourning the loss of a TV and comedy legend. Bob Newhart died on Thursday at age 94, Access Hollywood has learned. The actor’s publicist, Jerry Digney, confirmed the sad news in a lengthy statement to Access, noting that Newhart passed away in his Los Angeles home at approximately 10:45 a.m. PDT. An official cause of death has yet to be made public but he suffered “a series of short illnesses,” per Digney.
