Drake Reveals Massive Sports Betting Loss After Wagering $125 Million In 1 Month

Drake is getting honest about the downside of gambling. The rap superstar is known for his love of sports betting and shocked fans with a peek at his recent losses, sharing on June 18 that after wagering $125 million in one month, he’s down nearly eight figures. “Losses are so fried right now,” he wrote on his Instagram story, captioning a screenshot tallying his recent net profit of more than -$8 million. Despite being in the red at the moment, Drake noted that he’s still optimistic he can come out ahead. “I hope I can post a big win for you all soon cause I am the only who has never seen a max,” he added. “These guys max once a week.” Drake has been especially forthcoming about his bets in recent weeks amid the NHL and NBA playoffs. In fact, he revealed he’d placed an $800K bet favoring the Oklahoma City Thunder for Game 6 of the NBA Finals. Though he’s holding out for a big payday, the hitmaker has confessed he’s not exactly at the top of his gambling game. “I am a flawed sports better. I will not deny that. That’s not my gift,” he said in a May episode of Stake’s “House Money” series. “I’ll let everybody roll with it. I’m sure if you’re a Drake curse believer, there will be plenty more content in the future to confirm your theories because my slips do not cash out. But one day I’m gonna have a parlay that’s insane.”
