Dwayne Johnson Reveals Plane Suffered ‘Hydraulics Issue’ Over Ocean: ‘I Appreciate God’
Dwayne Johnson’s recent flight across the Pacific Ocean took a serious turn. The “Moana 2” star took to social media on Friday to announce that he wouldn’t be able to attend the United Football League season opener in Texas that night due to a mechanical issue his private plane faced mid-flight. “[The pilot] said it was a hydraulics issue with overheating. And he said, “There are some issues that we could work out as we’re in the air, and then there’s some that we’re not going to take a chance, especially over the ocean – and especially when the computer of the airplane is saying, ‘Don’t fly anymore over the ocean. You’ve got to get back to land.’ I so appreciate the crew. I appreciate them getting us back to land safely. I appreciate God, the universe. I took this as a sign from God and the universe,” he said.
