Jennifer Lawrence Breaks Into Sudden Sobs During ‘Tonight Show’ Interview: ‘No, This Is Fun’
Leave it to Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence to cry on command! The “Die My Love” star proved she can turn on the waterworks at the drop of a hat while stopping by “The Tonight Show” on Nov. 7. JLaw kicked off the conversation with a confession that she felt nervous to return to the talk show circuit, leaving host Jimmy Fallon to reassure her that she’s definitely still got it. When recalling a recently viral New Yorker profile in which she said that she thought people found her “annoying” early in her career, however, JLaw broke into sudden pretend sobs as she explained that she felt worried she was rambling. “I can’t believe I’m still talking!” she jokingly – but convincingly – wailed, with Jimmy appearing playfully flustered. “No, stop crying! Stop crying!” he said. “No, this is fun! You’re having fun on a talk show! Stop crying. Just trust me, this is fun.” Jen later burst into faux tears once again upon sharing how she and her fellow producers had a misunderstanding during the filming of her and Robert Pattinson’s new movie. And, the A-lister joked that she was bracing for another possible mix-up from her and Rob’s longtime fans.
