Joey Graziadei Reveals Upcoming New York City Marathon Is His ‘First Ever’: ‘I Am Nervous’
Joey Graziadei is gearing up to run the New York City Marathon! The “Bachelor” alum chatted exclusively with Access Hollywood ahead of the TCS NYC Marathon produced by New York Road Runners in which he revealed that the event would be his first-ever marathon or even race. “I will be the first to admit I am nervous. I am excited, nervous – there’s a lot of different emotions. It’s my first marathon ever, so I don’t really know what to expect. I’m just kind of hearing stories and coming in and trying to do the best I can,” he shared, adding, “I’ve never even done, like, a half where you have the bib and everything, so there’s going to be a lot of first this weekend for sure.” The reality star also shared that he’s been training with a friend who will run alongside him on Sunday, hoping that they run the whole way. “Our goal is -I do not want to stop running. That would be great. If I could just run the whole thing and not stop that, would be the goal I want to hit,” he said in part. Additionally, the “Dancing with the Stars” champion weighed in on this season, even reacting to online backlash about Carrie Ann Inaba’s scoring as well as Maks Chmerkovskiy’s recent critical comments about Jan Ravnik’s “DWTS” casting. “I think everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. I saw a lot of the pros speak on it this week as well too. I personally think Jan’s been doing a great job. Jan’s doing as good as he can. It’s hard to be in your first season as well – I understand Maks point of view and he’s entitled to it,” he said in part. Plus, the former “Bachelor” discussed the upcoming season of the “Bachelorette” which will be led by “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Taylor Frankie Paul.
