Kate Middleton and Prince William have released a statement in response to the shocking crash at a parade in Liverpool, England. On May 26, a suspect drove into a crowd of people celebrating the Liverpool Football Club’s Premier League title win and injured a reported 65 people. In the statement, shared via X on Tuesday morning, the Prince and Princess of Wales said they were “deeply saddened” by the tragedy. Per the BBC, police said a 53-year-old British man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, dangerous driving, and driving while “unfit through drugs” in connection to the incident.
