Orlando Bloom Breaks Silence On Katy Perry Split In First Public Comments: ‘Nothing But Love’

Orlando Bloom is sharing his first public comments on the aftermath of his and Katy Perry’s high-profile split. The actor broke his silence in a Sept. 5 “Today” interview and shared where he and the pop superstar stand after going their separate ways. “I’m great, man. I’m so grateful. We have the most beautiful daughter. You know when you leave everything on the field like I did in this movie?” he said, referencing his new film “The Cut” and his and Katy’s 5-year-old girl, Daisy. “I feel grateful for all of it. And we’re great. We’re going to be great. Nothing but love.” The remarks come two months after the former couple’s reps confirmed that they’d ended their six-year engagement earlier this year. Orlando and Katy were together for nearly a decade after meeting at the 2016 Golden Globes. For her part, the singer has yet to openly weigh in on the breakup as of Orlando’s comments but she and the “Lord of the Rings” alum appear to remain committed co-parents while independently exploring their single lives. Katy was spotted enjoying dinner with Justin Trudeau over the summer as the former Canadian Prime Minister also sang along at the Montreal stop of her Lifetimes world tour. Orlando, meanwhile, attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s Italy wedding solo, where he was seen chatting up celebrities including Kim Kardashian.
