Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Trial: Ex-Employee Cries Over His Alleged Threats To Kill Her, Cassie & Kid Cudi
A former top aide to Sean “Diddy” Combs got emotional in her bombshell testimony during Week 3 of his sex trafficking trial. Capricorn Clark took the stand on May 27 and reportedly shed tears while recalling her time working for the hip-hop mogul off and on between 2004 and 2020. According to live courtroom updates from NBC News, Clark claimed that Combs threatened to kill her, his longtime on-and-off girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, and rapper Kid Cudi after finding out that Cudi and Ventura were dating in 2011. Clark alleged that Combs forced her to accompany him to Cudi’s home to confront him with a gun and that she feared for her safety if she refused, claiming she called Ventura on a burner phone to warn her and that Cudi was with the singer and overheard the conversation. Cudi previously testified that he believes Combs allegedly broke into his home at that time and was behind a Molotov cocktail that torched his vehicle in the wake of his and Ventura’s relationship, which he said ended shortly afterward. Per NBC News, Clark claimed that Combs ordered her to convince Cudi that he wasn’t behind the alleged break-in and if she couldn’t, he’d kill all three of them. Clark then testified that Combs physically assaulted Cassie in front of her over the alleged events, prompting Clark to allegedly plead with Ventura’s mother, Regina, over the phone to contact authorities. “‘I’m in over my head. Please help her. I can’t call the police, but you can,'” Clark alleged saying to Regina, who has also testified in the trial. “She said, ‘I’ll handle it,’ and we hung up.” Clark went on to claim that the fallout from Ventura and Cudi’s relationship led Combs to fire her and allegedly threaten she “would never work again” and that he’d “make” her take her own life. Combs has yet to publicly respond to the allegations of breaking into Cudi’s home. He pleaded not guilty to all charges in his high-profile trial.
