Body Found In Singer D4vd’s Car Identified As Missing 15-Year-Old Girl
A decomposed body found in singer D4vd’s Tesla has been identified. Authorities confirmed to NBC News on Sept. 17 that the remains are of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who had previously been reported missing from Lake Elsinore, Calif. The teenage girl was identified through forensics, per NBC Los Angeles, and a cause of death has not yet been determined. Rivas’ remains were found last week by workers at a tow yard in Los Angeles who noticed a foul odor. The evidence reportedly suggested she had been deceased inside the car for an extended period of time. In a statement to NBC News, the Los Angeles Police Department noted that they are not currently investigating the death as a homicide. “At this time, the LAPD does not have a crime classification from the coroner as to the mode or manner of death. Thus, we do not have any suspect information at this time,” the statement read. D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, is fully cooperating with authorities, per NBC. Police have not named any suspects or filed charges in the case as of publication.
