Why George Clooney Doesn’t Relate To His ‘Jay Kelly’ Character
Access Hollywood spoke to George Clooney at the AFI Fest screening of his upcoming film “Jay Kelly” where he spoke about the difference between him and his character, “This is a character who lives with a lot of regret, which I do not…He’s a pretty angry guy and he’s lost a lot of friends and his family doesn’t like him and A – my kids still like me, there’s time,” he joked. Adding, “I don’t really relate to the guy that much but it sure is fun to play.” George also spoke about his longtime friendship with Adam Sandler and their history on “SNL” together. The actor also teased “Oceans 14,” “We’re finding a day for everyone to get to work, it’s scheduling now, but we’ll get there.” George also weighed in about the upcoming “Ocean’s” prequel film, “It sounds fantastic though…Bradley [Cooper] I love, he’s a friend, I think he’s extraordinary and Margot [Robbie] has an extraordinary career at such a young age.” “Jay Kelly” will be released in select theaters November 14th and December 5th on Netflix.
