Musicians and Hollywood stars are honoring R&B legend D’Angelo following news of his death. Jamie Foxx, Doja Cat, Missy Elliott and Jennifer Hudson are just a few stars remembering the 51-year-old after his family revealed on Oct. 14 that he had passed away after battling cancer. Throughout his career, D’Angelo released three albums, won four Grammy Awards and became well known for crafting a signature blend of R&B and hip-hop. In his moving tribute, Jamie Foxx praised the late singer for his “silky” and “flawless” voice and called him “one of one.” Doja Cat echoed Jamie’s sentiments, writing on X that D’Angelo was quote “a true voice of soul and inspiration to many brilliant artists of our generation and generations to come.”
