Dolly Parton Celebrates 80th Birthday With The Help Of Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus is helping her godmother, Dolly Parton, celebrate her birthday in a special way! The country icon turned 80 on Jan. 19 and it looks like she has a good sense of humor when it comes to getting older! In honor of the big day, she posted a series of photos on Instagram, including a hilarious snap of her standing in front of a cake putting out her 80th birthday candles with a fire extinguisher. But she was celebrating even before her big day! Last week the music legend re-released her 1977 hit, “Light of a Clear Blue Morning” featuring the voices of Miley Cyrus, Lainey Wilson, Reba McEntire and Queen Latifah! Proceeds from the track and the music video will be donated to the pediatric cancer research at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tenn.
