Donald Trump Confirms Charlie Kirk Has Died At 31 After Being Shot At Utah Event

Turning Point USA Founder and conservative activist Charlie Kirk is dead at age 31 after being shot at an event at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10. “The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead,” President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social in a lengthy statement. “No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!” he added. Kirk was about 20 minutes into his presentation at Utah Valley University when witnesses heard shots fired, a spokesperson for the school told NBC News. His security team then removed him from the premises and the courtyard was cleared, according to the school.
