Dwayne Johnson was overcome with emotion following the world premiere of his latest movie, “The Smashing Machine,” at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival. The biographical sports drama, based on the career of MMA fighter Mark Kerr and directed by Benny Safdie, received a 15-minute ovation standing on Sept. 1, leading “The Rock” to “uncontrollably” sob, according to Variety. In clips posted by magazine’s Co-Editor-In-Chief, Ramin Setoodeh, the 53-year-old is seen wiping away tears as he stands next to costar Emily Blunt.
