Dylan Dreyer Shares Update on Sheinelle Jones After Husband’s Death: ‘She’s Being Strong For Them’
Access Hollywood’s guest correspondent Lauren Herbert spoke to Dylan Dreyer at the ACC Celebrity Golf Championship presented by American Century Investments in Tahoe on Wednesday where she shared her excitement for the event and her passion for golf. The “Today” host shared an update on her co-host Sheinelle Jones whose husband Uche Ojeh passed away in May after battling cancer. Dylan shared, “She’s in mom mode right now, she has three young kids that she has to care for and it’s a really tough time for the family. We are all there to support her in any way we can and she’s taking the time that she needs to spend with those kids. I can’t even imagine what they are going through, what she is going through. She’s being strong for them.” Dylan also shared how the “Today” show is really like a family, “We call each other all the time even just, you know, Al Roker is the first person to send me a handwritten letter just to tell me, ‘I just want you to know that I’m proud of you’ and it’s like, ‘Oh, Al!’”
