Elon Musk Claims Donald Trump Is ‘In The Epstein Files’ As Two Exchange Jabs

Elon Musk and Donald Trump are not seeing eye to eye. On June 5, the United States President and the Tesla CEO exchanged jabs as Musk continues to criticize a Republican domestic policy bill which Trump calls “One Big Beautiful Bill.” Musk even went as far as to allege that Trump is in the Jeffrey Epstein files, claiming, “Time to drop the really big bomb @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!” He then followed up writing, “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.” Access Hollywood has reached out to the White House for comment. Musk offered no evidence for his claim and the President has previously denied involvement in any of Epstein’s criminal behavior. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt issued a statement to NBC News Thursday evening that reads, “This is an unfortunate episode from Elon, who is unhappy with the One Big Beautiful Bill because it does not include the policies he wanted. The President is focused on passing this historic piece of legislation and making our country great again.” In the Oval Office earlier Thursday, Trump said he was “very disappointed in Elon” and claimed the SpaceX founder was upset that the bill cuts an electric vehicle mandate.
