Elon Musk’s Most Controversial Moments In The Trump Administration
Elon Musk’s time working in the Trump administration is over. On Wednesday, May 28, the Tesla CEO announced on X that he is departing his position after his “scheduled time” ends. He was considered a “special government employee” meaning he is limited to working 130 days in a 365-day-period. The 130-day mark since Trump’s inauguration is on Friday, according to CBS News Senior White House and Political Correspondent, Ed O’Keefe. During his short tenure in the Trump administration, Elon implemented a slew of changes in the government as the leader of President Donald Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency, better known as DOGE. Some of those changes included thousands of layoffs, and cutting billions of dollars in government spending which sparked controversy. Now Access Hollywood is looking back at his most controversial moments during his time in the White House.
