Emilie Kiser Breaks Silence Following Death Of 3-Year-Old Son Trigg: ‘I Take Full Accountability’

Influencer Emilie Kiser is breaking her silence following the death of her three-year-old son Trigg. Emilie posted a long, heartfelt statement to her social media accounts on Aug. 28, where she explained the grief she’s felt since his passing in May. “I never thought we would experience grief in this way or the pain of losing him so suddenly,” she wrote. “It’s a pain, heartache, and void that no family should ever have to endure. I take full accountability as Trigg’s mother, and I know I should have done more to protect him,” she added. The statement is the first time she has publicly spoken out on social media since her son died in May after drowning in the family’s backyard pool. According to Arizona police at the time, Trigg was given CPR at the scene and rushed to an Arizona hospital where he was hospitalized in critical condition. He died several days later. An investigation into Trigg’s death revealed that his father, Brady Kiser, was watching Trigg and said he was distracted when the boy went into the pool. Emilie was not home at the time, but the police report later noted that the three-year-old was unsupervised for at least nine minutes and that Trigg “did not go into the water intentionally, rather he tripped and fell in while playing with an inflatable chair.” Back in July, officials said Brady would not face any charges in his son’s death.
