Former MLS Star Aaron Boupendza Dead At 28 After Falling From The 11th Story Of A Building In China
Professional soccer player Aaron Boupendza has died at age 28 after falling from the 11th story of a building in China. Officials from his home country of Gabon announced his death on the Instagram account of the Fédération Gabonaise de Football. The post reads, “Rest in peach Aaron Boupendza.” The team he played for in China, Zheijang FC, also announced his passing in a statement posted to Instagram which reads, “It is with great sadness that we release this announcement: Aaron Boupendza unfortunately passed away today at his residence.” According to the National Football Team’s website, Aaron was a center forward who played 26 FIFA games for Gabon, scoring 8 goals. The 28-year-old also played for several teams around the world including clubs in France, Turkey, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia and played the FC Cincinnati in the United States.
