Jennifer Aniston Recalls Hurtful Assumptions About Her Desire To Have Kids: ‘Didn’t Know My Story’

Jennifer Aniston is opening up more than ever about the constant media scrutiny she endured over whether or not she would have a baby. The A-lister made rare and candid comments on the topic to Harper’s Bazaar UK about the hurt it caused and how the press was unaware she had gone through years of unsuccessful IVF treatment. “They didn’t know my story, or what I’d been going through over the past 20 years to try to pursue a family,” she told the mag. “The narrative about how I won’t have a baby, won’t have a family, because I’m selfish, a workaholic. It does affect me – I’m just a human being.” Aniston went on to reflect on her lifetime bond with her “Friends” co-stars and the 2023 loss of Matthew Perry.
