Jennifer Lawrence Reacts To Leonardo DiCaprio Saying He Hasn’t Rewatched ‘Titanic’
Does Leonardo DiCaprio’s heart still go on for one of his most beloved movies? During the latest installment of Variety and CNN’s “Actors on Actors” series, which was published on Dec. 17, Leo told Jennifer Lawrence he hasn’t rewatched the 1997 hit, “Titanic.” The surprising reveal came after the actress asked him about famously passing on starring in “Boogie Nights” which was directed by “One Battle After Another’s” Paul Thomas Anderson. “It was a hybrid of that,” Leo said. “There was ‘Titanic’ and then there was ‘Boogie Nights’ and they kind of overlapped. Maybe it could have worked out,” he added, before Jennifer interrupted, asking him, “Have you rewatched ‘Titanic?'” Leo quickly responded, “No. I haven’t seen it in forever.” Jennifer then pleads Leo to give the film another go, adding, “Oh, you should. I bet you could watch it now, it’s so good.” JLaw has a point! James Cameron’s blockbuster remains one of the highest-grossing movies of all time nearly 30 years after its release. The film skyrocketed Leo and Kate Winslet’s careers to another level and went on to win 11 Oscars, including Best Picture, at the 1998 Academy Awards.
