Jennifer Lopez Hugs Twins Emme & Max Onstage For New Year’s Las Vegas Residency Show: ‘Happy Era’
Jennifer Lopez is ringing in 2026 with two of the most important people in her life. The superstar brought 17-year-old twins Emme and Max onstage during her new “Up All Night” Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace for the final countdown to midnight on New Year’s Eve. The teens shared a sweet embrace with their famous mom while donning festive hats for the occasion as Jen gave them each a heartfelt kiss and shoutout. The 56-year-old shared an Instagram video of the moment and included a personal message to the crowd in which she reflected on a vulnerable turning point in her past. “If you take anything away from this show tonight, I hope that it’s…here it is: after my third divorce, that’s when I really started getting good at it, OK?” she said, referencing her split from ex-husband Marc Anthony, Emme and Max’s dad. “I was ready to give up on everything. My life is a mess,” she continued. JLo went on to share how she opened up to mentor Louise Hay about being a single mom to then-toddlers at the time and how she was reminded to let her passion and work guide her through difficult chapters. “‘When you’re learning a dance and you get the steps wrong, what do you do?'” Jen recalled being told. “I just keep going until I get the steps right,” she remembered responding, noting that Louise supported that crucial realization, adding, “‘That’s it, Jennifer. Always keep dancing.'” The singer and actress encouraged the audience to follow suit, sharing, “I wish the same for you. That whatever life throws at you, that you dance, and you dance, and you dance, again, and again, and again.”
