Kate Middleton Steps Out In Chic Monochrome Green For St. Patrick’s Day Traditions
“Colonel Catherine” is reporting for St. Patrick’s duty! On Tuesday, March 17, Kate Middleton marked the holiday by attending the Irish Guards’ St. Patrick’s Day Parade at Mons Barracks in England. The Princess of Wales attended the parade as Colonel of the Regiment. She was named Colonel of the Irish Guards in 2022 after King Charles ascended to the throne that September. For the occasion, the mother of three was dressed in an emerald, green Alexander McQueen coat paired with a matching Gina Foster Millinery hat. She accessorized her look with a black belt, gloves, boots, and a ceremonial shamrock. During the event, Kate was presented with traditional sprigs of shamrock as she also handed them out and greeted officers. Plus, the Princess of Wales took time to pet the regiment’s mascot, an Irish wolfhound named Seamus, and additionally presented him with a shamrock.
