Lil Nas X Speaks Out For First Time Following His Arrest: ‘Your Girl Is Going To Be Alright’

Lil Nas X is speaking out for the first time since he was charged with four felony counts. The Grammy winner shared a video to his Instagram Story on Aug. 26, where gave an update on how he was doing. “Your girl is going to be ok y’all. Ok…She’s going to be alright,” he said, before recounting his last four days. “Sh*t. That was f***ing terrifying! That was terrifying! It was a terrifying last four days, but your girl is going to be alright,” he added. The video comes one day after the rapper, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, entered a not guilty plea to three felony counts of battery with injury on a police officer and one felony count of resisting arrest. The “Old Town Road” artist was arrested and hospitalized on Aug. 21 for allegedly assaulting police officers after reportedly walking around naked on Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles last week. A Los Angeles judge set his bail to $75,000 with a condition of release being that he must attend four Narcotics Anonymous meetings a week or enroll in an outpatient narcotics program. His next court date is set for Sept. 15.
