Natalie Portman Reveals If She Became Friends With Rihanna After Their Viral Hug

Natalie Portman spoke to Access Hollywood at the premiere of his upcoming Apple TV+ film “Fountain of Youth” and shared one of the most challenging stunts that she had to perform, “Definitely the underwater stuff when we were under the shipwreck, that was really wild, we had dive equipment where we had to breathe from the oxygen and hold our breathe while we were shooting, it was really hard but fun.” The actress shared a special hug with Rihanna that went viral after the ladies ran into other outside of Dior’s Paris Fashion Week show in January 2024. The interaction went viral but Natalie shared that they haven’t become close friends following that moment, “I met Rihanna, I’m not like buds with Rihanna, I would love to be, I’m so happy for her as I know that’s a very joyful experience.” Fountain of Youth” will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on May 23, 2025.
