President Donald Trump Reacts To False Death Rumors In First Press Appearance In 1 Week
President Donald Trump is back in front of the camera. The president made his first media appearance in one week amid viral speculation about his health, confirming in an Oval Office announcement on Sept. 2 that U.S. Space Command will be moved from Colorado to Alabama. Trump was joined by Vice President J.D. Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and more. Following the group’s remarks, he took questions including one about his thoughts on the recent rumors that he had died. The 79-year-old previously shared on Truth Social days earlier that he’s “never felt better” in his life, seemingly in response to online users noticing a recent reduction in public outings and makeup on his hands to cover apparent discoloration. The gossip also heated up after cryptic comments Trump made in a “Fox & Friends” segment on Aug. 19 in which he remarked on the afterlife. “I want to try and get to heaven if possible,” he said at the time, teasing, “I’m hearing I’m not doing well. I’m really at the bottom of the totem pole.”
