Prince Harry Escorted From Courtroom As Woman Has Outburst At U.K. Security Hearing
Things escalated as Prince Harry left a London courtroom on April 9. As the royal was being escorted out before a break in day two of an appeal hearing pertaining to his U.K. security, a woman reportedly shouted, “I support you, Prince Harry,” according to People. The Duke of Sussex was reportedly already exiting the courtroom as the woman turned to the gallery and said, “If you’re members of the press, you’re the reason he’s not in England,” per the outlet. Harry reportedly returned later for the private part of the hearing, according to People. The 40-year-old is back in the U.K. appealing the British government’s decision to take away his publicly funded security detail, per NBC News. Harry’s security was downgraded in Feb. 2020 when he stepped down as a full-time member of the British royal family, which meant the royal would be granted security on a case-by-case basis.
