Prince Harry Makes Surprise Appearance at London Premiere After Buckingham Palace Invite Drama

Prince Harry is stepping out in London as tensions with his family continue. On Monday, July 6, Harry attended the UK premiere of the documentary “Misan Harriman: Shoot The People” to support friend and photographer Misan Harriman. The 41-year-old posed for a photo alongside Harriman as well as director Andy Mundy-Castle and broadcaster Afua Hirsch. Harriman is close with Harry and his wife Meghan Markle and even shot the couple’s pregnancy announcement when they were expecting their second child, Lilibet. A spokesperson for the prince told People on Monday that he was “really happy to be back in the U.K. and really looking forward to the week’s engagements,” including supporting his friend’s “brilliant” new film. Harry’s appearance at the screening comes just hours after it was reported that Buckingham Palace withdrew their invite for the 41-year-old to stay at the royal residence following his team’s announcement that he had accepted. The following morning, Harry appeared at an Invictus Games event in London just miles from estranged brother Prince William, who was visiting students at The London Welsh School to show support for Team Wales ahead of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games set to kick off later this month. Harry and William reportedly have no plans to see each other during the Duke’s UK visit and are said to have avoided communication in recent years amid their continued rift.
