Shia LaBeouf Dances On Bourbon Street Following Release From Jail After Arrest

Shia LaBeouf was seen on Bourbon Street in New Orleans hours after he was released from jail for allegedly hitting two people amid Mardi Gras festivities. On Tuesday evening, the actor was spotted by local news stations. WGNO-TV captured video of the “Transformers” star dancing on the street as he showed off what appeared to be his release papers, at one point having them in his mouth. Plus, in the early morning hours of Feb. 18, the actor spoke out on his X account writing, “Free me.” LaBeouf was arrested on Feb. 17. The New Orleans Police Department released a statement to NBC News detailing that around 12:45 a.m., they responded to “a simple battery where two victims (two adult males), reported being assaulted.” Access Hollywood has reached out to LaBeouf’s attorney as well as the New Orleans Police Department for additional comment.
