‘Sister Wives’: Janelle Brown Talks Grieving Garrison After His Death: ‘It’s Taken Awhile To Accept’
“Sister Wives” star Janelle Brown is opening up about healing after her son, Garrison Brown’s, death. On May 5, the reality star shared a black-and-white photo of her and Garrison on Instagram, reflecting on her return to Flagstaff, Ariz. after her son’s passing in 2024. “It’s taken awhile to accept the fact that, in the end, we did everything we could. Sometimes the mind convinces someone there’s no hope, even when all the evidence says otherwise,” she wrote. “Being in Flagstaff this past week brought a deep awareness of how much I need this new chapter—somewhere different. Everywhere I looked, I could see traces of Garrison.” The emotional post comes one day after the May 4 episode of “Sister Wives” touched on Garrison’s death and how the family was grieving the loss. The 25-year-old was found dead in his Arizona home on March 5, 2024. An autopsy report obtained by People in May ruled his passing as a suicide.
