Taylor Swift Reveals Real Reason Why She’s Not Performing at Super Bowl Halftime Show
Taylor Swift is putting rumors to rest. During an Oct. 6 appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” the pop star revealed which recent headlines about herself were true or false. After Fallon asked the singer if there was any truth to the internet chatter that she turned down the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show over rights to performance footage, she replied it wasn’t the case. “No, no. Well, here’s the thing. Like, like Jay-Z has always been very good to me. Our teams are really close. Like, they sometimes will call and say, ‘How does she feel about the Super Bowl?’ And that’s not like an official offer or like a conference room conversation,” she clarified before revealing what she and her team respond. “We’re always able to tell him the truth, which is that like, I am in love with a guy who does that sport on that on that actual field. Like that is violent chess, that is gladiators without swords. That is dangerous. I am – the whole season I am locked in on what that man is doing on the field.” She continued by explaining that it would feel unnatural to think about choreography and putting on a performance while her fiancé, Travis Kelce, is playing.
