Bill Belichick’s Daughter-In-Law Jennifer Blasts Jordon Hudson After Viral CBS Interview
Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law is speaking out against his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, after the 24-year-old interrupted his “CBS Sunday Morning” interview. Hudson went viral for an awkward moment in which she shot down journalist Tony Dokoupil’s question about how the couple met, with the “CBS Mornings” co-host also noting in the segment that Hudson was a “constant presence” during their interview. Many people online began sharing their opinions on the couple, who have 49-year age gap, including former Patriots players Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman. The ex-NFL stars came to their former coach’s defense on their “Dudes on Dudes” podcast, claiming that Hudson has “become his representative on top of being a girlfriend.” Comedian Nikki Glaser agreed with their take, commenting under the clip, “100%. She’s acting as his publicist. Publicists do this during interviews. People are out for blood.” However, Belichick’s daughter-in-law, Jennifer Schmitt Belichick, who is married to his son Stephen, replied to Glaser’s comment with a different take. “Publicists act in a professional manner and don’t ‘storm’ off set delaying an interview,” she wrote, potentially referring to a TMZ article which alleged through sources that Hudson “stormed out the room and delayed shooting for 30 minutes.” The outlet also claimed that Hudson interjected numerous times, even when the coach was answering questions related to football. Belichick released his own statement Wednesday, defending his girlfriend and alleging that he “clearly communicated” to his publisher’s publicist that any of his promotional interviews will only focus on contents of the book. A CBS News spokesperson denied Belichick’s claims in a statement to Access Hollywood, saying in part, “When we agreed to speak with Mr. Belichick, it was for a wide-ranging interview. There were no preconditions or limitations to this conversation.”
