Denise Richards Granted Temporary Restraining Order Against Estranged Husband Aaron Phypers

Denise Richards has been granted a temporary restraining order against her estranged husband Aaron Phypers, alleging that he abused her and even threatened to kill her throughout their marriage. In her domestic violence restraining order request, obtained by Access Hollywood on July 17, the actress claimed that her spouse would yell and call her profanities as well as become physical with her during their seven-year marriage. She also alleged that he owns “at least eight unregistered guns and multiple bullet proof vests.” In a statement obtained by Access Hollywood, Phypers denied Richards’ allegations, claiming in part, “Let me be unequivocally clear: I have never physically or emotionally abused Denise — or anyone. These accusations are completely false and deeply hurtful. Denise and I, like many couples, have faced our share of challenges, but any suggestion of abuse is categorically untrue.”
