George Clooney is entering his 65th year with a new perspective on surprises. While attending the King’s Trust 50th Anniversary Celebration in London on May 11, Amal Clooney revealed to British Vogue that she had marked her husband’s recent birthday by surprising him with, quote, “a number of things,” including having some of George’s friends join the celebration by posing as waiters. The Oscar winner then joked that his wife’s surprise may have been a bit risky.
