Harry Styles Makes Surprise Appearance During Ryan Gosling’s ‘SNL’ Monologue

Live from New York, it’s Ryan Gosling – and Harry Styles! On March 7, Gosling returned to host “Saturday Night Live” for the fourth time alongside musical guest Gorillaz. While delivering his monologue, the “Barbie” star noticed Styles sitting in the audience. “Is that Harry Styles? What are you doing here, man?” he asked, with the singer replying that he’s hosting next week’s show and wanted to get a refresher. As Gosling continued his remarks and discussed his upcoming project “Project Hail Mary,” the camera kept turning attention onto Styles, leading to a confused Gosling. “I’m just trying to understand why we’d be in a split screen,” the actor said, referencing how he and Styles were both on-screen side by side. Afterwards, the 45-year-old informed some of the “SNL” cast members that his monologue was now changed due to the interruptions before breaking out in song to Styles’ “Sign of the Times.”
