Justin Bieber Gives Dodgers Star Shohei Ohtani Thumbs-Down In Viral World Series Moment

Is it too late now to say sorry? Justin Bieber isn’t feeling the love for Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani. The singer was seen giving a now-viral thumbs-down after Ohtani’s home run during Game 3 of the World Series on Oct. 27. Many fans understood Bieber’s playful display of disapproval, considering the Canadian was at Dodger Stadium to root for the opposing team. Though the Toronto Blue Jays ultimately lost in a stunning 18-inning nail-biter, Bieber’s faves put up quite a fight in the six-hour matchup that tied for the longest World Series game in history. He and wife Hailey Beiber were just two of the major celebrities in attendance, as other stars including Jeff Goldblum, Jacob Elordi, Ariana Madix and Rob Lowe posed for pics at a pre-game celebration and “Smartless” pals and co-hosts Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes hit the field with National Anthem performer Brad Paisley. It was Glen Powell, though, who captured the crowd’s priceless reaction to the Dodgers’ game-winning home run. The Dodgers and the Blue Jays are set to face off for Game 4 of the 2025 World Series at Dodger Stadium on Oct. 28.
