Meghan Markle Responds To Claims That She Isn’t Relatable: ‘My Life Hasn’t Always Been Like This’

Meghan Markle is weighing in on internet chatter that she isn’t relatable. The Duchess of Sussex was asked about the accusations in an interview with the New York Times that was published on April 2. During the conversation, she was asked about the Le Creuset controversy that stemmed from her using the expensive cookware on her Netflix show to which she responded, “This is a thing, in 2025?” She then reportedly threw her hands up and looked at her mother, Doria Ragland, who calmly said, “Everyone is coming in hot these days.” The two ladies then pivoted the conversation to talk about air fryers and immersion blenders, but the reporter noted that Meghan appeared to be bothered by the accusations that she is unrelatable and out of touch. Later on, the Duchess said, “Don’t they know my life hasn’t always been like this?”
