Nikki Garcia Breaks Silence On Artem Chigvintsev $200K Divorce Settlement: ‘I Got A Steal’

Nikki Garcia is setting the record straight about the terms of her split from Artem Chigvintsev. The WWE star spoke out on her and Artem’s divorce settlement on the May 21 episode of her and twin sister Brie Garcia’s SiriusXM podcast “The Nikki & Brie Show” and clarified that the amount she was court ordered to pay her now-ex is actually less than she expected. Nikki noted that despite some thinking her $200K payout to the former “Dancing with the Stars” pro is a burden on her, she found the decision ultimately empowering because it meant she was the breadwinner in the marriage. “I got a steal,” she said of the settlement amount. “I’m not going to lie, which is crazy to say and you know, the one thing is, is our judge, we did private mediation, said at the end of it, ‘This is the first time in all the years I’ve done this, where a woman had to pay a man,’ and the judge said, ‘You should be so damn proud that you built such an empire that someone wants a piece of it. Now, let me tell you the learning lesson. If you ever get married again, promise me you will make them sign a prenup,’ and I was like, ‘I promise.'” The agreement also stipulates that Nikki pay Artem $3500 a month in child support for their 4-year-old son, Matteo. The couple split in August 2024 after Artem was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. No charges were filed. Though the dancer previously said the experience “ruined everything” for him, he and Nikki have maintained that Matteo is their top priority and Nikki said in her latest comments that their co-parenting relationship these days is on solid ground.
