Rosie O’Donnell Say She Was ‘Expecting’ Trump’s Citizenship Threat After ‘Years Of Abuse From Him’

Rosie O’Donnell wasn’t surprised by President Donald Trump’s recent threats. The comedian took to TikTok on July 15 to share an update on how she was doing after the President claimed to be considering revoking her citizenship status, explaining all is well in Ireland, where she currently resides. She also explained why she wasn’t shocked by his threats. “I have to say that I was expecting him to do something as absurd as he did, for a few reasons,” she said. “Number one, I read Project 2025. Number two, I’ve had 20 years of abuse from him, so I knew it wasn’t gonna stop. And number three, I know myself well enough to know that I wasn’t gonna shut up,” she added. Rosie and Donald have been feuding on and off since 2006 but on Saturday things escalated when the President wrote on Truth Social that he was considering revoking her citizenship status, writing in part that he thinks she’s a “threat to humanity.” Rosie is an American citizen and per NBC News, the president can’t legally “take away” an individual’s United States citizenship.
