White House Reacts to Donald Trump Claiming Taylor Swift Is ‘No Longer Hot’

The White House is weighing in on President Donald Trump’s Truth Social post in which he claimed that Taylor Swift is “no longer hot.” “Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?'” Trump wrote on Friday, May 16. Three days later during a White House press briefing on Monday, Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt what the President meant. “Look, he is speaking about Taylor Swift’s political views and how perhaps it has impacted the support of the American public for her work, and I will leave it at that,” Leavitt replied. The 78-year-old has taken jabs at the global pop star in recent months, including during the Philadelphia Eagles’ visit to the White House in April following their Super Bowl win as well as directly after the championship football game in February. Before the 2024 election, Trump also posted to Truth Social in all capital letters, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” following the pop star’s endorsement of former Vice President Kamala Harris for President.
