Amanda Knox Opens Up About Monica Lewinsky Friendship & How It Helped Her Navigate The Media

Amand Knox is getting candid about her journey into discovering who she is. The 37-year-old chatted with Access Hollywood’s guest correspondent Emily Orozco about her second memoir, “Free: My Search For Meaning” and looked back at her time in prison in Italy. “That experience in prison, it does feel like another life to me,” she told Access. “The 20-year-old me who went to Italy did not survive my study abroad experience. A part of me died in Italy,” she added. Amanda also talked about meeting Monica Lewinsky and why that encounter was the first time she felt truly seen. She also revealed about why she decided to extend an olive branch to Giuliano Mignini, the prosecutor who put her behind bars. Amanda’s memoir, “Free: My Search For Meaning” is out now.
