Carlos Alcaraz Blames His Brother For ‘Horrendous’ New Buzzcut That Shocked U.S. Open
Spanish tennis star Carlos Alcaraz may have won his first round U.S. Open match, but it’s his new ‘do that got everyone buzzing! The two-time Wimbledon winner debuted a buzzcut as he played against the U.S.’s Reilly Opelka on Aug. 25. His shocking new look caught the attention of everyone from social media to fellow tennis pros, including Frances Tiafoe, who shared that he’s not a fan. “I mean, it’s definitely terrible. He’s my guy though. It’s funny. I looked at him and I was like, I guess you’re aerodynamic,” the American player told reporters, adding, “I don’t know who told him that it’s good. I don’t know who told him to do that, but it’s terrible. From a guy who gets haircuts week in, week out, and prides myself on good haircuts, it’s horrendous.” Meanwhile, the five-time Grand Slam title winner wasn’t afraid to cast blame during a press conference. “My brother misunderstood with the machine. He cut it and the only way to fix it is to shave it off,” he said.
