Pam Bondi Reacts To Amy Poehler Imitating Her On ‘Saturday Night Live’
Pam Bondi is weighing in on Amy Poehler’s “Saturday Night Live” impression of her. After the comedian, who hosted the Oct. 11 episode, impersonated the Attorney General as she testified to the Senate Judiciary Committee last week alongside fellow “SNL” alum Tina Fey, who played Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, Bondi gave her stamp of approval. “@Sec_Noem should we recreate this picture in Chicago? Loving Amy Poehler!” the 59-year-old wrote in a post on X. Despite tagging Noem, it does not appear the former South Dakota governor has publicly responded as of Oct. 13, although DHS did repost part of a clip of Fey as Noem spoofing an ICE advertisement before editing their own clips in to remove the rest of the jokes. “Thanks for the free advertisement @NBCSNL Get Criminals Out. Make History. Save America,” DHS wrote on their X account alongside a link with more information.
