Travis Kelce Gushes Over Taylor Swift’s ‘Perfect’ TEU Surprise Performance: ‘Killed It’

Travis Kelce is spilling the tea on Taylor Swift’s surprise performance at Tight End University! The global superstar delighted fans after she unexpectedly took the stage alongside singer Kane Brown to perform her hit song “Shake It Off” at the Tight Ends and Friends concert in Nashville on June 24. In the July 2 podcast episode of “New Heights,” the NFL star teased to his brother Jason Kelce that the moment had been in the cards for some time, though didn’t reveal when the idea was brought up initially. “Tay Tay showed up! We’re in Nashville. She grew up in Nashville. She moved there when she was younger. And, yeah, we had this plan for a while that we were going to have some fun with the tight ends, and especially Tight Ends & Friends, all the evening events,” he began, adding, “I won’t say when the idea came up, but when we were there at Tight End & Friends and we knew there was a professional like Kane Brown who can just — he can figure it out. He’s a pro.” The 35-year-old went on to share that Swift asked Brown and the band if they’d be open to her joining them on stage. “She’s so good with just everybody, just people, and making people feel comfortable in it. And absolutely rocked the stage yet again. It was awesome.”
