CNN Correspondent Brian Stelter Reacts To His 5-Year-Old Son Crashing Live Interview

CNN correspondent Brian Stelter knows firsthand how hectic bedtime with young children can be! On Sunday, July 20, the chief media analyst was doing a live broadcast from home with CNN anchor Jessica Dean when his 5-year-old son, Story, crashed the interview. As Stelter discussed President Trump’s lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal over a recent report which claimed Trump sent a birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein in 2003 for Epstein’s 50th birthday, viewers noticed his young son smiling on the right side of the frame. The 5-year-old made a few cameos throughout the course of his dad’s TV hit, leading Dean to give a friendly shoutout at the end of the interview. “Alright, Brian Stelter, thanks to you. And I think you had a little helper with you, too, so give our thanks to him as well,” she said with a smile. “I apologize for my 5-year-old. It’s bedtime here at the Stelter house,” the correspondent replied. Plus, following his appearance, the author shared on social media what was going through his head when he noticed his son’s unexpected cameo. “LOL, yes, I tried my best not to break out laughing when he snuck into the camera shot,” he said in response to a user on X.
