Scottie Scheffler & His 1-Year-Old Son Have The Sweetest Moment After Open Championship Win
Scottie Scheffler may have won the 153rd Open Championship, but it’s his 1-year-old son Bennett who stole the show! After the PGA Tour star, 29, clenched his fourth major title on July 20, he had the sweetest interaction with his little boy on the grass. As Scottie held onto the trophy, Bennett spotted his dad and ran toward him, but he didn’t make it very far. The toddler only took a few steps before falling onto the grass as seen in NBC Sports video posted to social media. Scottie then quickly put down the trophy and waved at his son to get his attention before her ran over to pick him up and place him next to the Claret Jug. Shortly after that sweet father-son moment Scottie’s wife, Meredith Scheffler, joined them on the grass and gave her boys a big hug. Scottie is now just a U.S. Open win away from the career grand slam, which would put him amongst the greats in golf.
