Man Collapses Behind Donald Trump During Oval Office Press Conference About Weight Loss Drugs
A man collapsed near President Donald Trump at the Oval Office on Nov. 6 during a press conference about reducing the cost of weight loss drugs. Cameras captured the incident as Eli Lilly CEO Dave Ricks was at the podium talking about his company when suddenly a man, who was not immediately identified, started stumbling and slowly collapsed to the floor. Ricks quickly paused his remarks as Dr. Mehmet Oz rushed to the man’s side. President Trump then slowly got up and looked over as several people helped the individual. White House employees then asked members of the press to leave the area and moved to them into the White House Briefing Room. When the press conference resumed, Trump addressed the incident and directly told the media that the man was on the mend. “He’s got doctor’s care, but he’s fine,” he added.
